Every person coming needs to print and fill out a medical form and an Activity Acknowledgement form and bring them with you. They will check for these when you check in.
This includes all children and adults.
This is a different procedure than previous years. Please remember to bring these with you and have them ready in your car when you come to camp. If you forget, they'll provide forms for you to fill out there, but it will be much easier to bring them with you.
You can download the medical form on our site.
After you sign up, please contact your Den leader about how to get payment to them - checks can be made out to "Lakewood Pack 115."

Things you may want to know:
PACKING: see suggested packing list
PLAN: You can plan for just a day trip or overnight camping.
If you are doing the day trip, plan to arrive by 8:30 Saturday morning so you can find the rest of our group and be able to travel around the events with friends. (It is possible to find everyone later, just more difficult!)
If you are staying overnight, you can arrive Friday night or Saturday morning and you can stay two nights or one night —your choice. It is helpful if you let your den leader know your plans.
DIRECTIONS: Here are directions on Google Maps. The address is 2429 OH-45, Rock Creek OH, 44084.
Take 90 East, get off at OH Route 45 and go South for about 6 miles. Beaumont Scout Reservation is on the RIGHT.
Details of cabin assignment and Check in locations will go out via email when we get them from council.
PARKING: You will not be able to park next to the cabin/Troop lodge/Tent site. You will be able to see the closest parking areas on the Beaumont map. You may be able to take your car up to the lodge to unload; but they sometimes prohibit that due to so many people arriving around the same time. Experience suggests that you pack light, leave extra items in your car (back up boots, etc) and use backpacks to spread the load for carrying.
GETTING AROUND: Once you arrive and unload your gear, please try not to move your car again. We are supposed to walk to all events (or hayride!) and keep the vehicles on the road to a minimum for the safety of the scouts.
CABIN: We have our own dedicated cabin for Pack 115. (Assigned number will be given later.) These are called Troop Lodges and are basically an open floor plan with Bunk beds, picnic tables, a rustic food prep area and an area with sinks for brushing teeth etc (cold water only). EVERYONE in our pack has use of and responsibility for the lodge. Feel free to eat at the tables, use the plugs for charging, and enjoy the wood stove on a rainy cold night even if you have the Day Pass or Tent option. Please help with supervising your child in the cabin and with taking out trash, cleaning up, etc. Remember, A Scout is helpful, courteous, and clean!
TENTS: If your family is tenting, you will be able to pick a site around the troop lodge to put your tent so we will all stay together as a group. (You need to provide your own tent gear.)
FOOD: Friday dinner and Sunday breakfast is on you. Saturday meals are served by the staff—usually in the Dining Hall. You are welcome to bring your own snacks (we encourage healthy choices) and NON alcoholic beverages. Plan to bring your own water bottle and hot beverage mugs – the pack will not be bringing disposable products. The pack will bring some snacks to have in our troop lodge and available to all. If you want a vegetarian option, stop into the Dining hall and talk to the staff and they will work it out with you.
BATHROOMS / WATER: There are flush toilets and showers at Beaumont. They are NOT at the lodges (Port-a-potties are at the lodges.) There are toilets at the dining facility. The shower house is over by the pool and it is a bit of a walk. Baby wipes are an awesome way to clean up “good enough for camp.” There is running (cold) water in the lodge for a quick wash also. The water is well water. If you don’t like drinking well water, you could fill a jug of water at home, leave it in your car and replenish your water bottle as needed.
ACTIVITIES: By the council staff: see the flyer and know that some are subject to change or restriction due to weather, youth age, and other circumstances. (ex: Lions are not old enough to shoot BB Guns)
DEPARTURE: We need to leave the cabin and surrounding area clean and free of all trash. If you are departing early, see if you can take trash to the dumpsters from the cabin or surrounding area to help with clean up before you go. If you are staying until Sunday, please ensure the cabin/lodge is clean with no trash before you go. Check out is usually around 9 am Sunday and there are no formal activities planned for Sunday morning.
QUESTIONS: All of our Den Leaders are experienced Cub haunted campers and can give you more tips and answer questions.
